Manchester United plan new move for Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos

Manchester United have reignited their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, according to reports.
The Independent claim that Jose Mourinho’s side will make a new move for the Germany international in the summer window.
But the report also reveals that Madrid have no plans to allow the 27-year-old to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, and view the midfielder as a player who is virtually ‘un-sellable’.
David Moyes, whose reign at Old Trafford lasted just 10 months, claimed earlier this season that United had agreed terms with Kroos before the midfielder joined Madrid from Bayern Munich in July 2014.
Earlier this week, former United midfielder Paul Scholes claimed that Kroos would be the ‘perfect’ fit for Mourinho’s squad.
‘I really like Toni Kroos,’ he told Kicker.
‘When I came to the end of my career, I watched him closely and tried to play like Kroos.
‘I was a rather forward-looking midfielder, but Toni is the best in the world, and Kroos would be perfect next to Pogba and Ander Herrera at United.’
